Grief as Renowned South African DJ Shot Dead in the Heart of Johannesburg.
A prominent South African media personality and entertainer has been murdered in the country's largest city Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a nation grappling with entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the downtown area on a Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the forty-year-old entertainer was accosted by a trio of assailants, one of whom opened fire on him before fleeing on foot.

The DJ attempted to flee after he was wounded but fell down across the street.
Police added that Stock had an gun that was not fired and no items were stolen during the attack.
